Female Police Officer Caught on Tape Collecting Bribe [VIDEO]

Barely 2weeks after a police sergeant, Chris Omeleze, was dismissed after being caught on video demanding a bribe of N25,000, another footage showing a policewoman negotiating a bribe of N100 has surfaced on the Naija social media space.

The video footage, which circulated on Monday, showed the policewoman sitting in a commercial bus which she had apprehended in Lagos.

The driver and the conductor, at the yet-to-be identified location in Lagos, w ho had passengers in their bus, were seen making efforts to pacify the policewoman so that they could be allowed to continue with their journey; but their pleas went unheeded.

Soon, the driver got infuriated and slammed the policewoman, saying, “Don’t abuse me because of N100. How much is N100? Me I don pass N100.” The policewoman replied, “E no concern me. Pay me my own money.”

When the driver realised that she was hell-bent on collecting the bribe, he asked his bus conductor to give her the money. “Give her N100. I will return it to you later,” the driver said. As soon as the driver handed down the instruction, the policewoman alighted from the bus and walked towards the conductor.

Just as the two were moving towards the back of the bus, a voice from the background lamented: 

“You pay for police, you pay for agbero.” 

Once she collected cash the policewoman was seen with another female colleague walking away. The video, which was shot by someone sitting in the bus, has attracted outrage on the social media.

VIDEO: WATCH EDO TEACHER WHO CAN'T READ HER OWN AGE DECLARATION AFFIDAVIT

In an exercise to screen teachers involved in fraudulent documents to get into service, Edo state
governor, Adams Oshiomhole yesterday nabbed a teacher Mrs. Augusta Odemwigwe who could not read properly. She was asked to read an affidavit she swore to declare her age but couldn't.

The governor collected it and read it out to her and asked her to repeat a sentence there and she still couldn't. Then he asked,  ''if you cannot read this, i wonder if you will be able to write it on the board!''.

Mrs Odemwigwe has been teaching for 20years.

VIDEO : FAN JAILED FOR HUGGING CRISTIANO RONALDO

The fan who was jailed for invading the pitch during the International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and Chelsea to hug Cristiano Ronaldo last week has stressed that he has no regrets over his actions.

Ronald Gjoka, 19, ran onto the pitch in the 67th minute to embrace his idol, only to be arrested by local police and taken to jail for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Gjoka spent the night in prison before he was allowed to leave the day after, yet he has stressed that the moment was worth the punishment.

"Honestly, first thing was look straight, find Cristiano and don't look back. Just go," Gjoka told Local10.

"I decided to add a little knee slide on it just for a little celebration. I think Ronaldo always does that celebration so I thought that he would find it funny, and he did, he gave it a little laugh.

"But after that, I gave him a big hug, told him you're one of my biggest idols, always followed you and I said, 'Please, Ronaldo, don't let the cops take me,' and that's when Ronaldo gave me a very big hug.

"I got the opportunity to talk to Ronaldo. It was a unique opportunity and I had to take it. It was worth the detention."

Video: Inmate jumps railing to avoid knife attack in Florida prison

Surveillance cameras captured the moment every door at a maximum-security jail wing in Florida swung open and released a flock of violent criminals, who ganged up and attacked another inmate with vicious homemade knives.  

The inmate was forced to jump over a railing and fall one story to escape his assailants, who are believed to be members of a rival gang in the Miami neighborhood of Liberty City. (The shirtless guy is the one who was attacked) Continue reading.



The Miami Herald reports that this has led some to speculate that the prisoners knew that their doors would open and that they were waiting to be let out to execute their attack. 

The Herald obtained a copy of the June 14 surveillance video.

It shows an attack on Kenneth Williams, believed to be a leader of the New Moneii gang that deals drugs in a Liberty City public housing project, by three rival gang members - all of whom were allegedly armed with shivs - crude prison knives.

Williams jumped over a railing and landed on the floor below to escape his assailants. He can be seen writhing in pain, holding his leg. 

Doctors later said he suffered a fractured vertebrae and a broken ankle. Watch the video below...

This Robbery Gang Leader Is Deadlier Than Shina Rambo

 

              

The Police High Command have disclosed that South-West robbery czar, Abiodun Ogunjobi [Gododogo] who was nabbed last week after a massive manhunt that lasted for about 14 years is a bigger threat than the famed Shina Rambo to Nigeria.

“We did not make it public because of the need not to frighten the people. But any top police officer will tell you that he was bigger that Shina Rambo. Was it the number of policemen he killed [or] the businesses he raided? He was the top man!"

How Godogodo held parts of Nigeria to ransom for 14 years...

His notoriety is such that some governors have called the police high command to bring the underworld king to them so that they can re-assure their people that Godogodo has indeed been arrested.

Six police commands including Lagos are currently clamouring to interrogate the suspect who has terrorized the region for over 14 years, killing more than 50 policemen and many other civilians.

Police sources told Vanguard that Commissioners of Police from these states who have lost policemen and rifles to this deadly robber were seeking to have him paraded in their states to restore public confidence in the police.

A police source disclosed that activities in one of the banks raided by Godogodo and his gang last year, leading to the death of unspecific number of people are yet to resume.

“They all want to have a time with the notorious armed robber. They are all victims of his escapade and they all want to interrogate him to know how he coordinated some of these operations.”

Fashola orders intensive treatment of suspect

Meanwhile, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has ordered an intensive treatment of the suspect who was injured from bullet fired at him during his arrest in Egbeda area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Sources said Godogodo was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital on Thursday. He was bleeding from injuries he sustained during his arrest.

Godogodo bigger than Shina Rambo —Police

Explaining how big he was in the underworld, a top police officer said he was bigger than Shina Rambo, who shot to public consciousness with his daring raids that led to the death of scores of policemen and civilians in the 90s.

According to the source,

“He became prominent because of his access to arms. They operate in syndicates. For instance, in the Ajah zone, there was Saheed who looked out for targets. In this same zone, there was Omoba who had a six-man gang. When they identify a target and feel that it’s huge, they would invite Godogodo who would storm the place with his superior arsenal. They operated like that in every part of the region.

“However, before he was caught we had depleted his men. Some of them like AY, Seye, Omoba and Saheed had been arrested. We killed people like AY and Paul.

Sorcery and charms

“These people believe in sorcery and charms. They are usually emboldened by their charms. Initially, we assumed they lived outside the country but gradually we started putting some of the evidence together which led to their arrest.

“What also struck us was that they operated on weekends. We still don’t know why. These guys were deadly.”

Asked why they have decided to take him to some South-West states, the police top shot said he doubted if he would be alive for such parade.

He said: “Godogodo was in pretty bad shape when I saw him. I don’t think he will be alive for such exercise except the doctors perform a miracle.”
