Texas Man Who Killed Girlfrind, Her Mom & Grandfather Executed

A Texas inmate has been executed for the killings of his 15-year-old girlfriend, her mother and her grandfather nearly 13 years ago in Houston. Derrick Dewayne Charles, 32, became the seventh prisoner put to death this year in the nation's most active capital punishment yesterday. He was pronounced dead at 6:36 p.m. CDT, 25 minutes after being given the execution drug.

As the pentobarbital took effect, he took two breaths, yawned and then appeared to go to sleep. Six relatives of Charles' victims witnessed the execution, but he made no eye contact with them.

His lawyers had argued that he was mentally incompetent for execution and that they needed more time. But the judge frowned at the statement and sentenced him to death after 13 years of in and out of court.

TAKE IT EASY

Vividly recall the story of a man who became popular for engaging in money rituals just to buy the 80's edition of the Honda Prelude; you wouldn't buy that car for 50k today.

A guy brutally murdered his brother, just because he wanted to acquire the rave of the moment - Pathfinder Jeep.
That same vehicle is now better described as a coffin.... Vanity

I remember as a kid, my whole street gathered at a neighbour's house to watch a"drama" shown on a "double-door black & white television".
Today there is plasma television and its almost found in every student's room..... Vanity

Some ladies left their true loves because some rich guy then persuaded them with a Benz 190, which turned out to be the only car they ever owned till date.
They found out too late that true love is invaluable..... Vanity

David Cameron wins election, gets to stay another 5 years

David Cameron is on course for an extraordinary victory as 'shy Tories' came out at the last moment to keep him in Downing Street. He said it was 'too early to say' what the final result of the General Election would be, but added that there was 'the chance now to build on the foundation' laid in the last parliament.

But the Tory leader will have to deal with SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon who is cleaning up north of the border, leaving Scotland as a near one-party state.
In a signal that he now accepts he will not be PM, Mr Miliband said the next government 'has a huge responsibility' to hold the UK together.
The SNP tide has swept aside Labour and Lib Dem big beasts including Jim Murphy and Douglas Alexander in a tide of nationalism which has already sparked calls for a second independence referendum.
There are doubts that Mr Miliband will survive as leader until Friday lunchtime, as he faces being left with 17 fewer seats than Gordon Brown, slumping to 239.
Some 50million people were eligible to vote in the most closely fought campaign in a generation. Opinion polls in recent weeks had Labour and the Tories neck and neck, suggesting Britain faced political deadlock.

But an exit poll released at 10pm on Thursday suggested voters switched to the Conservatives at the last moment, giving Mr Cameron an unexpected but welcome boost.

Congratulations!
