EMBRACE SEASON 7

All route led to Ikorodu Town Hall, Lagos State on Friday the 18th day of April, 2014 (Good Friday) as the  annual event EMBRACE 2014 was held. This was the seventh edition of the programme since its inception in 2008.

About EMBRACE

The senior pastor of The Foursquare Gospel Church (Livingspring Tabernacle), Pastor Isaac Adeyemi said the vision of EMBRACE was born out of the inspiration received him (the visionary) when he attended "THE EXPERIENCE" at Tafawa Balewa Square in 2007. According to him, it was ministered to his heart to start something similar and he believed it was possible. He shared this vision and it was embraced with much enthusiasm by all. Within four months, the first season of EMBRACE took place to a resounding success. Since that time, it has been one success story after another with more than 25,000 concert goers attending the last edition (Season 6).

To the glory of God, EMBRACE is financed by all members of Livingspring Tabernacle who share in the vision. The budgets so far have ranged from 6million - 11million naira. These take care of payments for the venue, artistes, their accomodations and feedings, lightnings and sound systems, renting of chairs, security and other expenses. No offering is collected on the concert ground.

EMBRACE is in two sessions: morning and evening. The medical EMBRACE takes place during the morning session and it is devoted to ministering to the health needs of the community by competent medical practitioners. People come from far and near to consult with the medical personnel and they are treated absolutely free of charge. This ministration takes the forms of consultation, prescription of drugs and eye glasses among others. This morning session begins from 8:00am and terminates 6:00pm.

EMBRACE exist to make positive and profound impacts on the society and to bring people to the knowledge of the risen Saviour.

My Experience
Gbe-olabo and crew were present at the event although we got there a little bit late (around past 11pm) since the programme started around 9pm.... We got there when Bayo Adesuyi + Chidinma were rounding off on stage.... But I tell you that from the time we got there till we left, it was just fun + praise in the presence of almighty GOD.... I enjoyed so much the performances of SEUN SAX, ALFA SULE, KENNY K'ORE, a little of TIM GODFREY..... But I tell you that Ebenezer Obey was sooooo marvelous but I enjoyed Shola Allyson-Obaniyi the most, I really felt God's presence during her performance...
