Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has quashed any knowledge of Nigeria's involvement or knowledge onthe scandal that trailed Wednesday night's international friendly between Super Eagles and the Tartan Armies of Scotland.

Keshi told Sky sports news radio that the Nigeria national football team's presence in England was to play football and get the team in top shape as part of its World Cup preparations.

"I'm here to play and to see our team improve and get ready for the World Cup, I don't know maybe some sort of joke is around the corner and it's not very pleasant."
Keshi further gave a straight consent to the investigating authority to go ahead with their findings regarding the unpleasant development.

"They should go ahead and do whatever they want to do, because we're not part of this, we don't have interest on this, we're here to play Football and that's it. If they want to investigate whenever they want, that's their problem, we don't know anything about this." Keshi said.
