A 17-year-old girl has claimed that she killed at least nine Islamic State fighters on her own in Syria.

The brave girl, identified only as Piroz, is convinced she was born to fight. From her early childhood, Piroz wanted to follow thousands of Kurdish women who became soldiers to escape their repressed lives.

Speaking about her military achievements, the girl said she felt `proud and happy’ and `told everybody’ killing the jihadists in close combat in Syria is an achievement. Piroz was also seriously shot by IS fighter in an attack on the checkpoint she was guarding and now she can’t wait to come back to the frontline.

She even admitted that she would readily sacrifice her life to become a suicide bomber in order to kill more IS jihadists. But the girl who has been hailed a heroine among the fighters is more valued by military leaders as a soldier.
“Alone I killed nine that I saw. When I killed one I felt proud and happy and I told everybody. If it was up to us we would go among IS and blow ourselves up. We would do anything just to kill these people. But we have to follow our leaders.”
