The End Of PDP Will Be Unpleasant - Tinubu

Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has predicted that the end of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will not be so pleasant.

Punch reports that Sunday Dare, a representative of Tinubu disclosed this on Moday, July 28, on his Facebook page in a note titled, "PDP, Jonathan are building on quicksand".
He alleged that the impeachment of some All Progressive Congress (APC) governors was an attempt to turn Nigeria into a one-party state.
"The sun sets soon for the PDP and the party’s end will be ugly. Under the PDP, Nigeria suffers violence. The PDP takes Nigeria by force.

"The PDP plays with the tiger’s tail by pillaging the economy, brazenly stealing from public funds, subverting the Nigerian constitution, corruption of the police force, military and SSS in a desperate and near-criminal desire to win all elections.
"The truth is out about the culpability of the Presidency and a select few in the military and the President’s cabinet in the ongoing rapacious employment of state apparatus, resources and electoral institutions to impose a one party rule on Nigeria," he said.
Tinubu’s aide criticised the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh’s reaction to the terror attack on former military Head of State, Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) in which he strongly insinuated unreasonably that the APC must have arranged the attack.
He also lambasted the PDP-led Federal Government for trivialising the attempt on the life of Buhari, adding that the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration was worse than the dictatorship of both General Sani Abacha and General Ibrahim Babangida.
It would be recalled that there was suicide bomb attempt on the life of Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari, (retd.) on Wednesday July 23 in Kaduna State. Since the attack, reactions have been pouring in, some condemening the attack while others like Asari Dokubo are of the opinion that the attack was masterminded by Buhari.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) are playing the blame game, accusing each other of the attack.
