A correctional officer was arrested Monday after authorities say she admitted to sleeping with an inmate.
According to the arrest affidavit, Kenyetta Foxe, 28, works for the Tennessee Department of Correction at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.
Foxe allegedly admitted to sleeping with the same inmate on two different occasions.
The inmate, Michael Daniels, 28, was sentenced to prison in 2008.
According to ABC affiliate, WTVC, Daniels is considered one of Chattanooga’s most notorious gang members.
Daniels is serving a life sentence, plus 23 years for the 2006 death of Adrian Patton.
During his 2008 trial, the jury decided Daniels ordered fellow Skyline B loods gang member Timothy Evans to carry out the hit against Patton.
Daniels is eligible for parole in 2072.
Foxe was charged with one felony count of sex with prisoners.
She was booked into the Metro jail on $10,000 bond.
According to Dorinda Carter, Communications Director with the Tennessee Department of Correction, she was hired in February 2013.
Carter said they will begin the process to terminate her employment. She said the inmate will not be charged.
