Nigeria has played like this in their previous friendlies. This is not something new or an aberration. They really are not that good to be honest.

Jesus look at that shitty defense, they either really suck or are play acting to make their opponents underestimate them.
Any simple pressure and they lose the ball.

This Nigeria side is going to have major problems scoring in the group stages. Their last three games have reminded me of what Ivic said to TM players before the Yugoslavia game in WC 98; "The Yugoslav side won't be able to score on us in open play". The Nigerians are very talented but suffer from poor coaching and no attacking plan, especially in the final third of the pitch. Quite typical of African coached sides.

every single one of the 32 teams at the WC "just need one good long range shot" to go ahead in a game. I'm talking about how they knock the ball around well but are completely lost in the final third. There's no cohesion and everything breaks apart. They may very well beat Iran; but they will struggle against Bosnia and Argentina.
The best way to play Nigeria seems to be pressing and attacking them on the counter. I seriously doubt Nigeria will score more than 2 goals in the group stage.
7.Darloc-
Nigerian players seem to have lost their confidence, passing is not effective.
