VIDEO: Dammy Krane – Amin

I love this video so very much.... I think itz because of the lyrics.

Just like the way I fell in love with "This Year" by Jaywon, Dammy Krane entered my good book the moment I saw this video.....
Oyindamola Johnson Ayomikun Emmanuel born 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria and originates from the Yoruba ethnic group in South-West Nigeria. Dammy Krane was born to an Oluwakemi Osodi (who was a manager in the fuji music industry at the time). Dammy Krane cites this as an early influence in his career. Starting music at age 6, joined the children’s choir and ministered in various churches.
Inspired by artistes like Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Lagbaja, King Sunny Ade, 2Face, D'Banj and Sauce kid, he started recording songs on his own and performing at various university shows with his ability to merge all genres of music.
He credits his signing to Hypertek Records to a chance meeting with 2face Idibia at a birthday party. He says 2face Idibia had seen him perform and made the decision to sign him. In January 2012, he signed a record deal with Hypertek Records (currently Hypertek Digital / 960 Music Group). He is most famous for his single hit "My Dear"
The 960 Music Group is proud to present the music video for “AMIN”, the breakout song from Dammy Krane’s debut album, “The Enterkraner” .The video, directed by award-winning video director,Clarence Peters, captures the essence of the prayerful and solemn theme of the song.
The video was shot in Lagos, Nigeria. Featuring a live band, and the producer of the song,Spellz.
My favoorite lyrics from the song:
"Abeti lukere ba jere, gbe mi leke aye
Abeti lukere ba jere, gbe mi leke aye
Back in the book of Isaiah, it’s all in the eyes,
I see what I desire, so I turn am to prayer."
