Former Nigerian Military Dictator Babangida Hospitalized


Former Nigerian Head of state and Military dictator Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida has been hospitalized in Germany.

SaharaReporters made it known that the former leader was rushed to Germany about 10 days ago after he became ill. He was said to have been moved from his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State, out of the country in a desperate need of prompt and adequate health attention. 
However, President Goodluck Jonathan, who was earlier reported to have departed Nigeria for the annual United Nations General Assembly, is billed to pay the ailing general later in Germany.

A press statement released from the President’s office earlier today, Mr. Jonathan’s handlers reveals that he plans to spend one day for a private visit in London, this was said to be in disguise of paying the former Military leader a secret visit, according to SaharaReporters.
It was however made known that IBB, as the former General leader is popularly called, is down with ailment relating to a chronic back pains which he earlier had surgery in Germany, making him to be seriously ill although a friend of the former dictator who was trying to make the illness look less important and not so serious said he is “getting better.”
It would be recalled that just recently, members of the National Assembly blamed the regime of former military head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida, for the poor performance of the Nigerian Armed Forces in their fight against the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram.
