NAN made this known on Monday, with reference to LASUTH top doctor Ibrahim Mustapha, who said:
“One of the victims, a child, is due to be discharged today, but we cannot find her parents. We intend to take her photograph to make the announcement and hopefully, she will be found by her parents.
Mustapha also revealed that two more victims of the September 12 tragedy might be soon discharged as they were responding well to treatment.
“Both sustained minor injuries including bruises, but we have been able to treat and dress their wounds.”
The building belonging to the famous Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) collapsed Friday afternoon leaving already more than 40 people dead and many injured. Some sources however insist that the death toll has hit 50.
According to the initial construction plan, it was a 2-storey building, but it was later remodeled with 3 extra floors added. While the reason for the collapse is yet to be identified, Lagos Government said they had not provided permission for erection of additional structures.
